3D Solids & Body Objects

There are a few posts about, but no particularly recent ones...

Is there a straightforward way of producing a 3D solid from a corridor instead of where a body is created?

I can go through a workflow to change a body and eventually get to a solid, but it's a right chore, and if the corridor changes, it's a start again moment!

Cheers

You can make a Solid from a Corridor Surface. You can specify its thickness or give it a base elevation. If you give it zero thickness, you might get a Mesh. I don't remember, but you might want to check.

No.

I know how to make solids from a corridor. When you create solids via a corridor, for sub-assemblies that only have links, bodies are created not solids.

It's an issue with Civil 3D that needs to be looked at.
