Hello,

Problem 1:
I tried to make a bit of an irregular layout, with two viewports made by assigning two regions by vpclip:
Region 1: One big rectangle with a subtracted smaller rectangle.
Region 2: The smaller subtracted rectangle.

This seemed fine, but the "reference grid system" (RGS) was no longer related Viewport 1 (region 1).
I thought ok, I'll revert the viewport based on Region 1 back to a rectangle. I have now tried to do that, both with a rectangular poyline and a region, but the viewport is still not getting back its original format. This way, I cannot revert my viewport 1 to a rectangular one which can be related to a (RGS), since RGS can only be given to rectangular VPs ...

- My solution was to repeat "undo" until I was back to the original VP, but this isn't always possible... So that is why I ended up with this question.

Elsehow, the reason why I have stumbled upon the issue in the first place, is that I have been struggling with making the RGS display underneath another region or another viewport (Problem 2). It seems that is not possible. That is a bit frustrating - it means I cannot both have a RGS and have overlapping viewports... See picture "VP1 overlapping... .png"

The overlapping viewport is only a solution I use to get a dynamic table to be placed on top of everything else, always perpendicular to the layout view. - Since it isn't possible to move a dynamic table from modelspace to paperspace (hhich is problem 3), since it becomes unscalable and huge ... See picture "Dynamic table ... .png" - The very small dot ni the left is the layout/paper that is to be printed.

Haha, one issue after the other, that are mostly related to C3Ds design - If anyone knows how to give the feedback above to AutoDESK, please let me know.

To revert a VP back to original rectangle, select the VP, type "VPCLIP" then "Delete"

if you want your table VP to be "masked" either VPCLIP the first VP around the second one, or hatch a rectangle same size as table with same as background color, then draw order

Hope this helps
