The PropertySetData is different for the Plan part vs the ProfilePart:

To have custom properties applicable to a part no matter where it is labeled, you will need to add a custom property to the part: https://beingcivil.typepad.com/my_weblog/2010/07/assigning-optional-properties-to-a-part-size.html

I understand that.

The pipe on the plan has its own PropertySetData, but when I create the profile view of the pipe, the PropertySetData doesn't come along. How to make the PropertySetData on profile view automatically follow the PropertySetData on the plan?

Perhaps with Dynamo or a .NET tool could be written.
