I am sure this is pretty basic for most of you, but I cannot seem to figure it out. When using LDT, I have a bunch of predefined blocks (ie. catchbasin, manhole, gatevalve) that are referenced when inserting points. So, if a survey point description reads CB, the associated catchbasin symbol is inserted into the drawing and on the correct layer. How does this work in C3D? From what I can tell so far, I need to create point groups prior to inserting the points in C3D so that I chose the "catchbasin" style and insert in all of the catchbasin points, "gatevalve" style for gatevalve points and so on. This cannot be the only way to do it. I assume there is something similar to the description key manager to handle this, but haven't had any luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
