Subassembly Composer: Custom Carriageway and median with targets

Hello everyone,

After I tried without luck to create an assembly that meets my needs using the Civil 3D native subassemblies, I decided to create some custom subbassemblies using SAC.

1)I have one for the median area (Zona_mediana_MDU_v10), which should change from crest to depressed when the outside lane is superelevated. At the same time this subassembly can follow offset targets (left and right) if needs to be widened.

2)The second one is for carriageway (Carosabil_Dex_MDU_v4) which have the following variables:

  • the superelevation of the outside lane (left or right)
  • offset target if needs to be widened
  • offset target for subbase kink. I don't know how to explain this, but when the outside lane of a curve is superelevated over 2.5% then the subbase slope should change from -4% to whatever value the superlevation have. At the same time the point where the slope of the subbase changes is moving from the inside of carriageway to the outside of it. For this purpose I have created some offset alignments, for each side.

When I am setting the offset targets for median width and for subbabse kink the corridor starts to create some unnexpected errors in width.

If I am setting only one of the above targets it builds normally.

I am attaching the PKT of the 2 subassemblies (I changed the extension to .zip because the site does not allow attachment of pkt's) and a dwg where I tested them.

I don't understand why is doing this, maybe someone has a bit of time to investigate and to give me me some advice.

Thank you in advance for the help.

BR

Marius

There are almost two weeks since I posted this and seems that no one has encountered a similar problem, or, at least did not find a solution to that.

I don't know where to look to solve this issue. I still believe this a bug related with the way Civil 3D works, but this is above my level of competence.
