Property Sets: Get Station of Alignment From Block Location

My goal is to be able to use a property set in order to get the station of a block along an alignment given alignment name. This topic was brought up before in this forum post but I'm not sure about the solution that was given.

Bottom line Property Sets alone = not enough Fields = manual / semi-automatic Best solution = API-based station calculation + property set writeback

If you want, I can give you a short C# snippet that does exactly:
“block → nearest alignment → station → write to Property Set”.
