Junction Offset Alignment is not symmetrical for left and right

In this drawing, J1-Right and J1-Left are symmetrical, where they are the curb return alignment between Road 1 and Road 2 at the junction.

When we check the alignment side under the Corridor Target Mapping, the alignment for J1-Left is on the left side, while J1-Right is set to No side.image3.png

If the two are symmetrical, it is expected that J1-Right is on the right side, just like how J1-Left is on the left side. Is there any reason why C3D is detecting J1-Right as No Side?

Also, is J1-Right detected as No Side the one that triggers the error below, even though the corridor generated appears correctly as it is supposed to be designed?

@soonhui, the sides shown within the corridor target mapping dialog box are in relation to the selected baseline.

So, for example, if you selected road2, and then go into target mapping you will see the J1-Left & J1-Right are shown as left and right of the selected baseline.

If you select road1, you will see that the J1-Right and J1-Left are both right of road1.

If you select J1-Right as the baseline, which it appears that's what have selected in your screenshot, then you will see that J1-Left is left and that J1-Right is no side.

Does this help clarify what's going on there?
