I've tried to import a surface from GE; no dice.
I've tride to import a terrain from GE; no dice.
I don't have admin rights on this PC... I had to have one of the IT guys install it. Also, my application data information is stored on a network server which I have full read-write access. However, whenever I start GE, I get a message about it not being to create the Application Data\Google\GoogleEarth directory. Also, when I try to import either an Image or an Image & Surface, I get an Invalid Pointer error message. When I try to import just the surface, I get a fatal error after this...
Command: _ImportGESurface
DWG Coordinate System: NAD83 Connecticut State Plane Zone, US Foot
Use coordinate system for surface location or [Image]:
Then the CREATE SURFACE dialog box comes up, I pick a surface style, and then everything goes downhill from there.
Any ideas on how I can fix this? And no, having full admin rights on my computer is not going to happen - not if the IT guys have their ways.
