Creating a Surface from Survey GPS Points and Lines

I am no Civil 3D expert, but I am trying to create a surface from my survey data. The survey data I have has both points and lines and I am not sure if that is what is causing me the issue or not. I have tried to create point groups and then assign them to the surface, but still no luck. If someone has an idea of what is holding this surface up, I would greatly appreciate it.

Your drawing does not contain any cogo points. Use the following command to import your points. 

The points that you do have in there appear to have been exploded or imported using a different software as they regular ACAD points.
