Content Catalog Editor Help

I am trying to modify a pressure pipe part  in the content catalog editor. I cant seem to find any parts in my current catalogs to edit. When I try to open a catalog in the editor no parts come in. I get a list of part types, (cap, coupling etc ) but no actual parts come in. the same thing happens when I try to import a part as well. No items match my search. 

any ideas.

I understand you are using the Content Catalog Editor to modify pressure pipes that are available with AutoCAD Civil 3D. You are reporting that you are unable to open the parts in your catalog. I do apologize for the inconvenience and I am more than happy to help.

There a couple of scenarios that might be impacting you in this situation. Please confirm you are opening the Sqlite files located in the following directory (you version might be different and please adjust as necessary).

C:\Programdata\Autodesk\C3D 2016\ENU\Pressure Pipe Catalog\Imperial\

Additionally, some parts will not be available in some catalogs based on the connection types (For example we have Caps in the Mechanical catalog but not in the Flanged catalog).

thanks for the response. It was actually a Windows issue. The "program data" file was hidden and I was trying to find the catalogs in the "program files" folder.
Close but not quite 🙂
