Civil 3D workspace Missing

I was trying to change a setting in the options dialog box and now all my civil 3D properties don't work how anyone knows how to fix this and how I mixed it up.
The only thing I changed was the profile to display my name then everything went on me.

Same thing happend to me after a smart guy from IT department played with my computer's registry. I fixed it by running a repair instalation of Autocad.

I need help on this same issue. I renamed the unnamed profile. and created a couple of other profiles.

Shutdown for the weekend and now I have no Civil 3D workspace.

When I try to add labels, this message comes up, Unknown command "AECCLBLDLGGENERALNOTE".

In Options -> Files Tab what is listed under Customization Files -> Main Customization File and Enterprise Customization File (Enterprise is blank by default)

By default Civil 3D will be using the civil (cuix) menu file.

If it says Acad, then you may have launched "Civil 3D as AutoCAD"

The cui file contains the workspaces.

Thanks for the advice.

My AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 Shortcut on the Desktop has the following properties:

• Target:  "C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008\acad.exe" /p "<<Unnamed Profile>>"
• Start in:  "C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008\UserDataCache\"

I found a backup of all my old  .CUI  and copied them over.

Still getting the error and no aecc commands.

• C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008\AcMapWorkspace.arx cannot find a dll or
  other file that it needs.
  C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008\AcMapDwfApi.arx cannot find a dll or
  other file that it needs.
  Failed.
  AcMapWorkspace.arx Load Failed
  AcMapDwfApi.arx Load Failed
  C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008\AcMapDwfUI.arx cannot find a dll or
  other file that it needs.
  C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008\Civil\AeccUiModel.arx cannot find a dll
  or other file that it needs.

Finally, figured out I can run ARX  at the command line. All ARXs above were running except for AeccUiModel.arx.

Ran the ARX command with AeccUiModel.arx and it installed without errors.

It is working at least. Probably will have to do that until our IT can repair the installation.
