Orothropic material properties using polar/cylindrical coordiantes

For some applications, it would be useful to be able to define material properties in polar/cylindrical coordinates.

For example, a set of conductors wound around a cylinder could me modeled as a lumped solid of revolution where the thermal conductivity is high in the circumferential direction but low in the radial and axial directions. This is extendable to other wound products, such as filament wound sleeves, etc.
