Expand geometry options for TECs

I recently heard of a need for modeling non-cuboid Thermoelectric Coolers (TECs) in Simulation CFD. Currently TEC material devices require a 6 sided cuboid part. Requests have come in for modeling round TECs with center holes similar to these units:

Does any one share a need for modeling this kind of TEC? Curious to know how often they come up.
