Very distorted and bad mesh elements while using mesh flags

Hi. I am working on analysis of an AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle). I am using “mesh_enhance_thick, mesh_enhance_layers and mesh_enhance_gradation” flags to create a better mesh (ie. Mesh enhcanement layer as thick as boundary layer, y+ value close to 1 and fine mesh on the surface) But where the surface slopes changes and where the wing meets the body, I get mesh elements which are very distorted and badly shaped. My questions are: does this affect accuracy, and is there a way to avoid such distorted and bad mesh elements ? Thanks. Yunus.

Hi Yunus,

Your boundary layer mesh looks realy too large.

I would suggest you to restart with the default settings and apply the one that are described in the link bellow :

Hope this help.
