Solver has Exited Unexpectedly

Hi, I have a file imported from Fusion, and I generated a surface mesh, it is able to run and generate meshes and volumes, but once the solver gets to the iterations plot before it is even able to complete 1 iteration, it has the error message of quitting unexpectedly. Can anyone please help me fix the issue?

Hello,

This problem can often be caused by several factors, such as bad CAD geometry, inappropriate mesh settings, or even corrupted mesh definitions. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Check CAD Geometry: Ensure there are no interferences or sliver volumes in your CAD model. Remove any unnecessary features like lettering or logos.

  2. Adjust Mesh Settings: In the Design Study Bar, right-click on Mesh Settings and remove the current mesh definition. Recreate the mesh definition with appropriate settings for your model.

  3. Simplify the Model: Try simplifying your model by removing parts one by one to identify if a specific part is causing the issue.

  4. Update Software: Ensure that both Fusion and your solver software are up to date with the latest patches and updates.
