How would you simulate the surface effect of a pool skimmer? Health departments require a swimming pool have certain percentage of the pools surface "skimmed" within a specific time frame. I need to find a way to prove a pools skimmer design/layout in CFD.
After construction this test is completed by covering the pools surface with floating stars and a stopwatch.
