Processor under-utilization

I have a hex-core processor with hyperthreading, yielding 12 logical cores all running at 3.2 Ghz.  The CFD solver won't use more than 4 logical cores.  How do I change this?  I found the flag for the meshing cores, but not for the solver cores.

At this time we only use physical cores and in a 2^n factor (i.e. 2, 4 ,8 ,16)

On a single hex core we will only use 4 cores.
