POINTS: .xyp Extension

Hi,

I need to import a list of points (.csv) from Excel to AutodeskCFD 2016 to see the values in a specific grid.

I saw that the only command to import a file is in Result -> Planes -> XY Plot -> Read from file -> Browse

The software asks for a .xyp File that is a problem to create from .csv.

There is another way to import a list of points in the software?

Thank you!

KR,

Giacomo

Hi Jon!

Well, I tried many times to change the extension manually but apparently, it doesn't work with Autodesk CFD 2016.

But yesterday I found an easy solution: using a .xyp file created by the software, I opened it with Excel, then I put all the data inside and I saved without changing the extension.

That's the only way to solve my issue I think.

Thank you!
