Hi, I am currently completing a study on the effects of wind loading on buildings. I have found how to calculate the torque on the design which I assume is torsional twisting but I am unable to figure out how to find the base moment.
Is it possible to find the overturning moment acting on a buildings base?
If so how is this done?
