Overlapping surface meshes error when meshing

Hi!

I am trying to run an urban wind study (something I do frequently), but I keep getting an error I've never seen before. 'Overlapping surface meshes' at the edge of my wind tunnel. Specifically the 2 surfaces highlighted in red below.image.png

I've tried refining the mesh significantly. I've also tried reducing the wall layer factor, as suggested in the error message. I've also tried remodelling several times. Now I'm kind of lost. The error occurs at the intersection between my ground and air volumes, at the very edge of the wind tunnel (in this case the inlet side).

Any support would be much appreciated!

I have just managed to solve the problem…

I remodelled the terrain one last time, improved the ‘modelling tolerance’ setting in my modelling software and saved the model as ‘geometry only’, which removes all non-geometrical information and settings from the model.

I’m not sure which one solved the problem… but it now appears to be working!
