How to rotate an object around a specified axis

Hi,everyone.I am a student studying CFD, now I am doing the thermal simulation of the server. As shown in the figure, I added a shutter in front of the server. I want to simulate the shutter at different angles. How can I set the shutter to different angles? Thank you!

Change your geometry in your CAD program and re-import.

Hello,

Have you actually added the shutter as physical geometry in order to direct the flow?

If so then you would have to change the angle in your CAD model.

If not, you can set the direction of the flow by defining a Velocity boundary condition and set the method to Component instead of the default Normal.

I hope this answers your question.

Thank you for your replay! But I need the shutter to rotate at different angles according to the program, so it's unrealistic to change the geometry every time.

Thank you for your reply!

In fact, I need to simulate the opening and closing of the shutter during the simulation, so it is unrealistic to change CAD. I've tried the second method, but I don't quite understand how to set it. For example, what's the size of the value? And, When the shutter's  material is wood, it doesn't seem to work.As shown in the figure, there will be a air-outlet-grille to send cold air upward. According to different angles of shutter opening and closing, the temperature of the server will be different. So it's possible to change the flow direction, but can you tell me the specific setting method? Thank you very much!

I see.  Perhaps in this case you want to use Motion to rotate the shutters.

Yes, it also can use Motion to rotate the shutters. But in angular motion, I can only set the X, Y or Z axis, and I need the shutter rotate at a specific axis, how to solve this?

Thanks a lot!

You can set both, Axis of Rotation (X, Y, Z) or a combination, AND Center of Rotation which is a point at that axis.

This should be enough to define the axis of rotation.
