Free Surface - Gurgling?

Just wanted to confirm that I was not missing anything here with free surface limitations.

Simple test of an inverted water bottle, which will "gurgle" in reality as ambient air moves in to the trapped air space in the bottle as its pressure drops.

My testing seemed to confirm my suspicions that this is out of the reach of free surface.  Also, the pressure in the trapped air space on top of the water never deviates from 0 gauge.  I guess the #of moles of air is not being tracked in order to lower the pressure as the volume increases?

You are correct 🙂

There is no air modeled in a free surface analysis.

Hope all is going well Mark!

Jon
