flow pattern

Hi 

if i am not sure if my flow is turbulent  or laminar which option should i choose ?

and if the flow is turbulent and i choose laminar or opposite, is this affect my results ?

Stick to turbulent to start with.

You can always monitor the Reynolds number to get an idea if you can switch over 🙂

Thanks Jon, but this is correct if i know the limits between
Laminar and turbulent like in tube, more than 2300 the flow is turbulent.
But if i have complex dimensions or if i have two channels
In one velocity very high and in the second Flow velocity is very low. What should I choose?

I would suggest sticking to turbulent, that should then capture both properly.
