Creo 7.0 and 8.0 Support

Hi,

Does any know if the CFD 2021/2022 is going to support Creo 7.0 and 8.0 in the near future. I used this program in the past but it seem there little support or development for this program anymore?

Also some should fix the typo error with "#" in the cfd_2021.txt that been there for years.

Hello,

CFD 2021 doesn't officially support creo 7 or 8, but does import creo7 .prt files but not .asm files.

CFD is actually built from the GRANITE kernel.  I'm not sure if this has to get updated at some point to work with other files types as well as Creo.  If CFD doesn't need an updated GRANITE kernel to work with other Autodesk software I don't know if they will support later releases of Creo unfortunately.

@marwan_azzam do you have a product roadmap you are able to share with us end users?
