Chromium host executable (AcWebBrowser.exe)

Hello,

i have high CPU usage caused by acwebbrowser.exe*32  this link explain exactly what i have.

i check to following step :

1. Antivirus software

2. i try to kill  ACWebbrowser in the process task bar.

3. For the  Autodesk Desktop App it seems to work since i had AdAppMgrSvc.exe and AdAppMgrUpdater.exe running in the task manager. I try to unimstall and reinstall but i still have the same problem.

Hello @frederic.gaillard.7,

The "AcWebBrowser.exe" applications are helper applications for Autodesk products, taking care of web communication - they are based on the web (HTML) component "Chromium" (the same root as Google Chrome). These processes are used e.g. for the online Help, licensing mechanism, the Start (Home) screen, for the update tool Desktop App, Infocenter, etc.

Standard memory requirements of these processes are as small as cca 15-40MB each, but they may require more CPU power if they are blocked by an antivirus or a firewall. So if required, add them to the exceptions list (no-scan/no-block) in your antivirus.

Thanks!
