Cannot import Inventor 2022 files into CFD 2021 with CAD Connection

The CAD connection in Inventor 2022 does not allow you to import geometry into CFD 2021.  Receive an error "Conversion from imported geometry to analysis model failed"

If you try to pull the geometry from Inventor in CFD you lose all your naming conventions.  Plus if you have to update your geometry in CFD you will lose all materials, boundary conditions, mesh, etc. The time it takes to reapply is considerable.  Furthermore, I often clone and update Geometry to evaluate how a change will effect the results, now I will have to reapply all the properties and re-mesh each time.

The work around given by support was to save in universal file such as .step or .iges then import using the CFD application.  This does work and seems to keep properties and BC's but is still not ideal.

I would like to know when an update for CFD will be available to fix this?
