Hello,
I recently downloaded Autodesk CFD (2023 version on windows 10) and have a problem with my viewport. It seems to be shifted from the top right corner (visible by the black border on the right of the viewport and at the top). Due to this, my mouse is also misaligned which makes selecting parts really difficult, as well as using the view cube and navigation bar. The mouse misalignment is the worst in the vertical movement (mouse icon is about 1 cm higher than it should be). The horizontal movement seems not to be misaligned.
I only have this misalignment problem in the viewport itself. The mouse interacts with the rest of the CFD program without any problem.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue? I have already tried to reboot my computer as well as reinstalling Autodesk CFD.
Best regards,
Brecht

Hello @Brecht.SmetsF4YG9 ,
The cursor offset is a known issue with CFD 023 when you have two or more monitors.
Try the following:

Hello @marwan_azzam,
I am indeed working with two monitors. I followed your steps and Autodesk CFD is working perfect right now. The offset of the viewport is gone and the cursor is interacting properly.
Thank you for your time!

This is a decent workaround for some cases, but if opening from Inventor (or assume other CAD systems also) you don't have the option to follow the process unless you launch, save, close, reopen CFD and follow this work-around.
1) Is there any other way to get this working for cases when opening from Inventor?
2) Any plan to fix the issue and offer an update to download?
Thanks,
Greg
Hello @G_Effland ,
You can do the steps described above then in CFD go to File> New and open your Inventor model.
I'm hoping this will be addressed in the next release, CFD 2024.

I also discovered that if the file is already open with the viewport misaligned, you can drag the whole app window to the main monitor, then in View, change the viewport to another style, then back and that will realign without having to close and reopen CFD.
