Written Software Evaluations. Thought.

I need to do some rather basic software evaluation... some basic stuff like brief discription, license cost, license method, how it can be used with our processes, etc.

The eval doesn't need to get into ROI, performance speed, etc.

What I think I need is some examples of bullet headers, sections, etc.. like in a basic word document.

Contact a certified vendor.  That is the type of report they put together using your needs and usages for the software as targets of how their product benefits you..

I try to avoid those.  They are invariably glowing reports of everything the product can do, skipping over problem areas (or calling them "features").
