How to link a Revit file from NAS?

Hi Guys,

We park the Archi & Structural Revit project files in our NAS storage. Is it possible to link that file directly to our current working file (MEP) as a Revit link?

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Can you path out to the NAS system?  If so, then yes.  If not, you might have to replicate from NAS to a typical network location.

Hi @risaku,

I can only access through the web page.

I am thinking of using BIM 360, but, still got some permission issues.

Looking at your diagram here https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/a360-forum/is-there-any-option-to-invite-people-for-a-particular-file...

C4R - Collaboration for Revit - should take care of what you need.

With C4R and BIM360 Team, your Revit models would live in the Autodesk cloud instead of NAS.  Have you set that up?

That post is for A360.  For C4R you will need BIM 360.  They are separate, at least for now.  Once you get setup in BIM 360, it will be smooth sailing ...
