The Black and Indigenous Community Forum is a vibrant and inclusive space designed to celebrate, support, and empower members of the Black and Indigenous communities and their allies. Hosted as part of Autodesk University (AU) meetups, this forum brings together customers, partners, and Autodesk employees to foster meaningful connections and expand professional networks. The forum is rooted in the missions of the Autodesk Black Network and the Autodesk Indigenous Network, which aim to build strong digital communities that uplift and amplify the voices of Black and Indigenous individuals. These networks provide platforms for dialogue, collaboration, and celebration of collective achievements, while also promoting equity and belonging within the broader Autodesk ecosystem.
Today, we observe Indigenous Peoples' Day by honoring the Indigenous peoples on whose land we live and work. This day is a call to reflect on the painful history of colonization and to celebrate the strength, resistance, and rich cultures of Indigenous communities.
We are committed to being active allies and continuing to learn, listen to, and uplift Indigenous voices and support their ongoing work. We encourage everyone to learn more about the Indigenous peoples of their local area and support Indigenous-led organizations.
