Text Font changes when published

Hello,

Whenever i publish our model to the BIM 360 Team environment, the text font changes which makes reading the information more unpleasant.

I've read serveral forum posts here that had similiar problems, but none of the given solutions worked for me. According to the explanations, Revit doesn't export embed fonts and replaces it with a "standard" system used Font, which in this case looks to be 'Arial'.

One of the solutions was changing the font to 'Arial' with a Width factor of for example 0,8. Unfortunately that doesn't have any effect in my case. In the attachments you can clearly see the difference.

Anyone know a solution to this problem?

hi Glenn

If the Arial at .8 didn't work for you, you might try another different font to see if you can get it to look better for you when it translates in the Team Viewer.

Unfortunately, this is a known issue, however, the best way to get this positioned as a higher priority would be to add your comments and experience to the Ideas Board HERE.

I have no ETA on when this will be fixed, but again, the best way to be heard is to continue to add in to the existing Idea thread.

Let me know if you have further questions, as well feel free to share your file with me if you're able to, so that i can add it with the dev team. (public downloadable link)

Thanks,

Hi Brett,

Thank you for your help.

I found a solution for the time being. Substituting 'Arial' with 'Calibri' gives more or less a cleaner look. It's not ideal, but i can work with it.

This is kind of a problem... BIM360 actually splits some tags into two lines:

We are using wide factor = 1, so, BIM360 simply does not support Arial Narrow?

We cannot have BIM360 swap fonts and modify the flow of text, I mean, it goes without saying.

Brett, any news on this issue?

Thank you

Regards

Gio
