Hi Paul,

Thanks for posting your question to the forum.  You can not create a public share for a folder, but you can create a public share for a file and share that.  You can also decide if you want a password or not with the share.

Hope this helps and have have a great day.

Bud;

Is there a reason why a folder cannot be shared in BIM360? We're looking into fully implementing BIM360 with our consultants. Our structural and mechanical engineers still rely on CAD files and I was hoping to share a folder with them - otherwise I have to go back and send them to two different places, GDrive for the CAS files and BIM360 to view the Revit file.

Thx,

Marc

Hi Marc,

BIM 360 Team is project based, so you don't need to share a folder, just invite them into the project and they will see everything in the project.

Hope this helps and Happy Holidays.

Hello Adilah,

Thanks for posting to the forum and welcome. You can invite to any eMAIL account, if they don't have an Autodesk account, one will get created automatically.

Hope this helps and Happy Holidays.

Hi bud,

Thank you for answering my questions. How about if they buy 2seats of BIM360 for one email( autodesk email)? Is it means that only that 2 persons can review it?

To access Team, they will need an eMAIL address that has been invited to the project. You would want two eMAIL addresses for two seats.

Also take a look at this link on setting up the contract.

Hope this helps
