Which Folders to Coordinate When Creating Model Coordination Spaces?

It seems to me that it would be best to path Coordination spaces to each discipline's WIP Team folders so that model coordination isn't dependent on Sharing or Consuming.

I've seen some people create Coordination spaces for the WIP and the Shared folders which doesn't make sense to me.

I'm curious to hear other's opinions on this.

It depends on the project, usually, the WIP space is meant for in-progress models that are ideally suitable for internal teams, and only when they are ready to share their models which are available to the wider audience, at this moment they can use the shared folder functionality with suitable permission. The WIP folder is only accessible to the internal team and when the internal teams want to do the clash coordination, and issue management, they can create a separate coordination space only meant for internal coordination. For other stake holders, a separate coordination space is required, that why a shared folder.

If you go by ISO19650 standard, it also defines having separate folders for internal and external coordination.

I hope this clarifies your query.
Thanks

What @ovais.mattooTH4AT said is spot on.

Model Coordination allows multiple coordination spaces to give flexibility to the overall process, depending on whether it is for internal team coordination or more broadly as project team coordination.

Thanks for the feedback!  That makes sense.  Internal coordination vs full project team coordination.

(Now I just need to figure out how to get people to actually take advantage of these tools and take a little initiative in reaching out to me to help set them up on projects where they're appropriate.)
