Where is the Activity Log in BIM Collaborate PRO?

Hello. So I recently made the switch from a BIM 360 Design License to BIM Collaborate PRO; the interface is different, but I have still managed to locate most of the tools I used before.

A big change has been the Project Admin screen. It doesn't have as many options as before. I used to check on the Activity Log for the whole project back in BIM360, and that doesn't seem to be available in BIM Collaborate PRO.

I tried looking for it through Account Admin>BIM 360 Admin>Projects but each time I click on the project I want to look at, it sends me straight to the Project's Insight screen, not the Project Admin screen, where I could edit SERVICES.

Is there something I'm missing? Or has this feature been removed from BIM Collaborate PRO?

Hi

Very good question.

It looks as though, like so many other features, it is not yet available on the Unified Platform.

Keep your eye on the BIM 360 Release Notes blog to see any updates to the BIM 360 and Unified platforms.

If this answer provides a solution, please mark this post as the solution.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be a workaround for now.

I somehow managed to find the activity a few weeks back, and even saved the link, but now when I click on the bookmark, it redirects me to the Insight page for the proyect.

I'll subscribe to the blog and see if they get it back.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I am having this issues too. Now I cannot find in new Autodesk Construction Cloud and has that feature been removed ?

That feature is very useful for us where can look at the users traffic of project, also a “project insight” level report, apart from being security feature.

I was also troubled with this issue, but found out that it is possible to check the File Activities for each individual file. However, a global Activity Log (like in BIM 360) of the whole Document Management Module is not (yet) available.

Unfortunately, finding out all the functionalities of ACC platform is a trail-and-error workflow, since these are badly/not documented online.

You can find the "File Activities" by browsing to a specific file and clicking on the 3 dots. Then choose the "View File Activities" from the drop-down list.

I suppose we'll have to make do with this method until the module becomes available.

Thank you very much for your reply!

So I have a major problem with this Autodesk.  I'm really hoping one of those Factory folks read this.  We were pushed to use this new platform.  This platform is missing some of the basic functionality that it's previous version had.

The Publish log is a valuable tool when issues arise, such as the automatic publishing fails.  How do I check?  How am I notified?  I have no way to check.

In my opinion, I've had nothing but issues with the Autodesk Construction Cloud.  Users don't get added right away.  Permissions don't always work correctly.

Is there any option to migrate back to the older version?  Or am I just stuck with this Beta version for life?

Indeed, it is despicable that Autodesk pushes new platform which don't work, lacks basic functionality.

It's the end of November and the Publish Log is apparently still not available. I've got a project where the client can no longer view the model online, because the sheet extraction failed. I already completely re-uplaoded the model, but I can't keep doing this every week.

Hope Autodesk can see this, an overall Activity log function needed for ACC but we are still waiting for it.

It was so useful and helpful in BIM360 as a project admin, hope they can bring it back.

Really! No global activity log. I'm shocked 😱

I can't wait for AU till they announce some new acquisition that will cost us 1000s, but they remove another basic required feature.

I can't recall if this existed when I made my comments 8 months ago, but it exists now and is in BETA, so it probably did not exist back then. It is located under Project Admin. It provides a log of all files viewed, downloaded, uploaded, copied, etc.

One thing I tested recently. It does not indicate whether a file is packaged or consumed. It simply says copied. So you may see the same file name with 2 copied reports. (1 is the package, and the other is consumed). In a sense it is being copied from one folder to another. It would be great if it indicated the command that is being used.
