We are an Architectural firm, using bim360. We can see the structural model in the shared folder on bim360 but when we go to link it into our revit model it does not show up. Why is this happening. We can see the mep model we have linked in.
Thanks~
Is it not showing in the list of files available to link? The uploaded model may not be a cloud model.
Are you able to link it but not able to see it? The visibility graphics may not be set correctly.
Yes it is a cloud model, we had it loaded once before, but are just now having issues. When we go to reload the link, it does not appear in the list to link it. Though we can see the model in the shared folder on bim360, just not when we are in revit and go to reload it.
Just to be sure, the fact that it is on BIM360 doesn't make it a cloud model. It must be saved to the cloud as a cloud model, not simply uploaded.
Did somebody "update" the old file with a new file that is not a cloud model?
Is it in the correct version of Revit?
I will check with the structural and see how they have it set-up. Thanks, I will let you know what we find out.
