Sorting in BIM 360 Docs

I am having issues with sorting the files in folders in the Plans area. I have uploaded a single pdf with multiple sheets. Extracts fine, has a Set assigned, each sheet has a custom attribute for discipline. Works great for filtering by Set (which, unfortunately is the only filter we got....) The custom attribute for discipline has a 00 number in front so that I can sort the sheets by discipline per NCS. Works great. BUT... when sorting this way it used to also keep the sorting of the sheet number so that A-101 was first, then A-102 etc. Well, that is not happening anymore. The sheet number sort is all over the place. Is anyone else noticing this weird behavior? It is very frustrating and my team who relies on the order to quickly find the sheets has stopped using the app... Such simple things can ruin its use.... I believe there are plenty of requests in the Ideas area for sorting and filtering capabilities for files in Docs. Please implement this ASAP.

Thanks,

I have the same exact problem. What are the rules for sorting, primary, secondary, ect...?

The custom column/ attribute I select to sort by works but the Name and matching number are no longer in order. When reviewing all the attributes there does not appear to be any secondary logic for sorting... The only thing is that the length of the name is 5 characters not 4, but this still does not make sense.

Yes, I am having the same issue. Even with a sorting parameter or filtered column setting, the sheets appear out of numerical order. Is there a solution posted yet?

Ok, so some testing has shown in a new BIM 360 project setup for testing this (so different from the first image posted) that the second governing factor (first is the custom attribute "sort") is order or timestamp of upload. See attached images where we are sorting by "sort" a custom attribute.

I was wondering if there was another factor. Thanks for testing and finding this out. Again there needs to be multiple sorting functions as well as filtering....
