Revit file corrupt - data extraction problem

Hi, @lim.wendy

We encounter a big problem with one of our models. It is a MEP model created in Revit. We use Design Collaboration and untill this morning that works fine. However, when uploading the file, it has a problem during the extraction of the data... We tried several times, but no success. The user tried an Audit and Compact of the Revit model. Still no luck.

The publish log says:

We have encountered some issues while preparing the file for viewing. Please contact support for assistance.

Please help! Gr. Renzo

Have a look here - https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/bim-360-team/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/E...

It may be that an audit will sort it.

Hi, thank you for your quick reply.

Already we did the Audit fix. But that did not help us.

I ask my collegue about if there are any error messages.

Thank you all for your help.

The solution was to do the following in Revit:

- in Publish settings create a new set with only one 3D view

- be sure that this set is the only one active

- sync and publish works now

- go back to Publish settings and make your old set active agaiin

- republish, and it works!
