Re-placing BIM 360 File

We only have one BIM 360 licence, therefore I need to download Revit file from BIM 360, detach it and let other team members to work on detached file internally. Is there a way to move BIM 360 Revit cloud file to superseded folder and re-upload (initiate) detached Revit file to cloud? If so, is there a correct procedure? Please advise.

Hi vmarcukov5DM8N

If you only have one BIM360 license you're not really utilising the collaborative cloud approach, I would suggest you get all of your authors a license so you can work efficiently and effectively, once you do you'll wonder why you didn't do it ages ago! (IMHO)

If the other team members are not using the collaboration on the cloud then you really don't need to upload it as a Revit could file and can use the BIM360 Doc's to manage the file, storing, superseding and tracking access, using the logs and creating and managing issues.

BIM360 is also great for those who don't use the tools as they can use the visualisation and easy to navigate functionality creating a really rich design check and review workflow.

Hope this helps

Laura
