I know how to archive/delete a project in BIM360 Next-Gen
but how do I do int with Projects starter in the Next-Next-Gen ACC
there seems to be no help file or special forum
Ditto. I can't find it anywhere in the Project settings. Help just takes you to the instructions for archiving a BIM 360 NextGen project. Please don't tell me this was something that didn't make it over to the new platform...We're going to have a long list of bogus projects if we can't archive...
@MichaelRuehr , @MattDillon247 Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, this option is currently not available for Autodesk Construction Cloud but it is planned to introduce it. I apologise for your inconvenience and I'm also sorry that I can't give you any ETA.
Regards
Martyn
I just learned that you should still be able to archive Autodesk Contruction Cloud projects in the BIM360 Administrator.
As mention this option will be available in Autodesk Contruction Cloud.

I had a look but I can't see that. If possible could you please provide a step by step description?
I can't believe something so immature got released by Autodesk.
What a mess
@MichaelRuehr I was a little fast with my comment about archiving a project using BIM360 before knowing all the details about it. It is possible to do, but only with a hack which I don't want to put you through. I appologize for that confusion.
I can't speak for the team but I can imagine they didn't antizipated, that archiving a project has this importance when a project is created on the new platform. I can understand your frustration and can assure, this function will be available soon, but I can't give an ETA.
Until then, if it is crucial that you can archive a Project on the new platform I kindly ask you to contact support for guidance.
Thanks
Martyn
I just wanted to add that we cannot move to this platform until archiving is available as we have a lot of projects that come and go quickly, the project list will become unreasonable if we make this transition before then.
Thanks
@SteveDFThorne Just for my interessts. How long does quickly mean (< 1 Month, < 3 Months, ..).
I work in the design department of a construction company and we chase a lot of work through creating Revit models so this could range from 1 month to 5 years project duration. Sometimes we are chasing something that will be ongoing like a university campus, that could stay around for many years and be an infraworks model on BIM 360. The shorter projects could be walk in clients, RFP work etc. The type of thing that you find out within a month to 3 months if they have went another direction. Sometimes the client doesn't build now but comes back in a year and we need to unarchive and start working again.
Additionally, our estimating department is starting to look into Revit and ACC etc. Estimating projects that are hard bid lump sum will be out for tender and then if they are a loss would need to be archived. This duration would align with tender periods.
So a bit of everything. If ACC is to be a multidiscipline solution it will need robust archiving and access.
One of the things BIM 360 was seriously lacking was that you had to unarchive to look at the archived project. I hope with ACC the archives will also be viewable by "Non Admin" and without having to unarchive as people frequently need to access and reference through old work and sometimes grab content or files from previous projects.
Thanks,
@SteveDFThorne Thanks a lot for the inside, this is very informative!
Yeah, it appears to be missing an 'Inactive' or 'Archived' tab at the top of the project list.
So it appears you can restore the ACC project from BIM 360 Account Admin Archive but not the ACC Account Admin as there is no archive tab there. At least this is a work around for now.
I don't have that 3-doted button. Any clue why not?
That is the admin account btw. The most frustrating thing is that I have archived that ACC project but I can't remember how I did it. I've searched everywhere on the platform but I can't seem to be able to archive ACC projects. Only BIM 360.
