HELP, revit files do not show in revit open dialog box

dear all,

We are experiencing an issue in bim360; rvt files show in bim360 docs but not in the "open" dialog in revit.

Only when we change the "files of type" to *.* in the open dialog of revit will we see the missing files but they have a ".zip" extention"

does anyone know what is going on?

URGENT. All files which contains Revit links are now converted as zip-file. I have addressed a similar issue concerning look-a-like Revit model which appear as zip-files, but THIS is A SERIOUS BREAKDOWN in everyones workflow.

PLEASE FIX ASAP.

Regards,

Thierry Monteyne

Hi,

we have the same problem, all .rvt files are converted to .zip files.

The .zip file contains only the last approved .rvt file. So the latest work is lost.

Any ideas?

Regards David

Revit 2019 users can access their models by Revit Home.

Revit 2018 users can modify the Revit.ini by changing the recent files. Ex. copy the value of File7 to File1. It's temporary but at least you will be able to work for now.

The process is clear, but as we´re working in a large file with 5 colleagues and several linked files, half the day will be wasted....

I am sorry, but it is not clear to me.

Our projects in 2019 seem to be OK again, but our 2018 are not.

What exactly do I need to do on revit.ini and how do I do that?

Please try collaborating the Revit file through Revit> Collaborate> Collaborate in cloud option after making it a workshared file. This will resolve the issue.
