File Taking Over 1 hr to Upload/Desktop Connector

Good morning all,

I uploaded a large amount of files (28 in total) on Friday and discovered today that they did not all get uploaded.  I had been trying to click on the error msg that I had received that there were pending actions but nothing ever populated until I actually opened the desktop connector Pending Actions.  Now I am going through the the platform through the web to re-upload the ones that failed.  I am now going over the hr mark on one file being uploaded.  Hoping that anyone would have any insight into why a 43,257 KB file would be taking over an hour to upload.

Is there a file limit that we need to be concerned about?

Is there a way to stop the upload and try to re-upload?

I have tried to refresh drives along with refreshing the web browser (Google Chrome).  Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.  I tried to search the forum but I have not been able to find what I am specifically needing.

Appreciate the help in advance.

I just checked back in on this file and now I have a broken symbol at to the side.  Can someone please explain what this is and why I am seeing this?

Hi @erica.willaby,

Thank you for contacting Autodesk Support. Have you tried uploading this file again? Does this file has any xref's or links? If does then can you remove xref's and link then try uploading again.

Thank you and have a great day!

There were no xref's and there were no links on this file.  I did try to re-upload it again and again it failed.  The odd thing was that it was able to be downloaded despite having that broken file icon (see attachment from original post).  In addition it does show up in the desktop connector.

Any ideas why the broken file link would be showing despite it being able to be downloaded?  It is a bit misleading that it was able to be downloaded but the symbol clearly shows that it is broken.

Hi @erica.willaby,

Thank you for your reply. I am not sure why it would do that. Would you be able to share this file with me so I can try to duplicate this behavior on my test project? If you can then let me know and will send you my email address via Private message.

Thank you and have a great day!

Hello

Sorry for the delay but right now we are good with the team being able to download this even though it is misleading that it did not upload.  I appreciate the follow up.

Have a great day!
