Error - Couldn't prepare downloadable ZIP file(s) for Transmittal

I am trying to attached my Revit model to a transmittal to send round to the design team.  I find that this is the best way to notify the team that we have uploaded a new model and they can download the ZIP file.  However, the past two times I have tried I am getting this error -

Couldn't prepare downloadable ZIP file(s) for Transmittal

Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong as I don't get the error until the transmittal as been sent to the team and they receive something that they can't download.

Thanks in advance,

Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for your post.

I have performed a quick test with my project and the transmittal works and generates a ZIP file from a Revit file.

Is this happening with all files?

Are you able to create a transmittal with a simple Revit file?

Are you able to view the affected Revit file in Docs?

Cheers,

Luciane

Hi,

Thanks for replying.  I can ZIP PDF files that we have uploaded into a transmittal and I used to be able to ZIP the Revit model.  I don't know if the file size is getting too large to attach to transmittal perhaps?  Yes the file can be downloaded from BIM 360 DOCS and people can view it online.  I may just need to share with the team instead of adding it to a transmittal in future.
