Editing excel documents at mobile app and desktop

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to edit excel documents at the BIM 360 mobile app but the change that I made didn't save as a new version on the BIM 360, only as a "copy" on my smartphone (android). I already have the excel app on my cellphone. It's possible to make changes like that?

And also, some excel documents appears only for preview and I can't edit too (at the desktop and smartphone). How can I solve this problem?

is your Excel file inside a folder with permission to modify?

also, in BIM360, check the autorisation by folder, user and file.

Yes, I'am a admin at this project and can do changes in everything, but some excel's documents can't be edited, just read.

Now I found the problem with this folders "view only". It was saved as "xls" and the correct form to edit is "xlsx". 

But the problem with the mobile app still happening.

when you edit the excel or word file in bim360, i will lock the file until you unlock it.

maybe is just that..
