Trying to use the Model Coordination module in the Autodesk Construction Cloud. The demos show only revit files uploaded to the Document Management module allowing for clashes to be displayed and issues created. I have uploaded all NWD files but in the Model Coordination space it does not provide any view of models to compare. Please advise if there is a way around this.

Hi @SandySherry ,
Thank you for your question.
Only 3D RVT, DWG, and IFC files exported from ARCHICAD, Revit, MagiCAD for Revit), and Tekla Structures are currently supported for coordination and clash detection when using Model Coordination module for BIM 360.
Please refer to Model Coordination FAQs for more information.
How about linking your Navisworks file into Revit and then using it in Model Coordination? Will this work for you?
Hope the above helps!

@bartek.kulig Your response appears to be both incorrect on the file formats accepted for clash detection and really poor advice on bringing coordination models into Revit for model coordination.
@SandySherry NWDs are not supported however NWCs are definitely supported. We have a project currently up and running using 70% Revit models and 30% NWCs exported from Revit models that are hosted on other hubs. Model coordination process works just fine. Hope this helps.
From what I've told NWD files aren't supported in the coordination spaces. This is again complete nonsense by the Software vendor. Who ever is in charge of managing the ACC is living on another planet.
Bartek, we invest lots of time, energy, and money into BIM modeling and coordination. When you offer us products like construction cloud and charge us for it, then I would expect that you would prioritize and invest energy into making it a holistic suite that utilizes Autodesk software's like Navisworks, as this is one of the most important components. Right now, I'm dissapointed.
Regards
Marc
