Hi @Anonymous,
Thank you for participating in our community! This is good question. BIM 360 Docs and BIM 360 Field are designed to support different requirements for construction teams. BIM 360 Docs is document management and collaboration software that is used to publish, share, view and markup all 2D plans, 3D models and other project documents including photos, specifications and more. It provides permissioning and version control to make sure the whole team can access the most current set of information they need, anytime anywhere, and from any device.
BIM 360 Field is built to support quality, safety and commissioning workflows and programs during construction. It offers robust checklist, issues, tasks and equipment detail features, powerful reporting capabilities to track progress and manage performance, and field workflow tools to assign and manage work.
Both BIM 360 Docs and BIM 360 Field support both 2D and 3D files and are cloud-based, offering both online and offline access to data.
Please, let me know if this helps.
Thank you and have a great day!!!
