Hi, all
I'm try to figure out how do I remove items from outgoing and incoming item list. I have removed Bridge between project and deleted folder shared by other party, however it's still shown under list. I'm not sure how can I remove them?
Refer Image from ACC help page as example...

Hi Wentao, it is currently not possible to alter (or remove) items found in the Incoming our Outgoing tabs for Bridge. This is intentional as it is meant to provide an audit trail for our customers.
Could you help us understand why you would like to remove items from this list? How do you leverage the Incoming and Outgoing tabs today in your job?

Hi Roy,
refer image I replied above, our company just start explore Bridge function with other consultants and contractors, some mistake has been made during process, for example "untiled" bridge, "titled" bridge with incorrect folder shared, vice versa, it has been made some of BIM coordinators confused with current list, therefore, an "archive" function or somehow allow to clean the list would be handy.
Thanks.
Hi Wentao,
Thank you for the feedback. This is a feature request that I will note for our team.
So that I can better understand your user needs, how are you currently using the Incoming and Outgoing tabs of Bridge? It sounds like you're using it as the primary way to locate the shared content (files, folders, sheets), rather than trying to find the content via the Files or Sheet tool. Is that right?
Do you always look at the Incoming and Outgoing tabs to find your Bridged content? Or only when there is a problem or confusion?

Hi Wentao,
Yes, that all makes sense. Thank you for the additional context!

Hi, Roy,
Thank you for proactive follow up. I already can see the platform will improve in near future.
This is still a new feature and most of us are testing this out and not always getting it correct. (it's not very intuitive). Thus I now have several "Untitled" bridges in my projects that were part of a test before actually doing it with the real thing. I guess these will have to live there and confuse staff?
I see the previous comments about this were over a year old and still nothing.... It is growing tiring seeing Autodesk implement new features but not accounting for the fact people test them before fully rolling them out. This same thing happened when we tried testing out parameter service and then couldn't permanently delete the parameters. Autodesk had to go into our account to refresh everything. If your worried about "Auditing" simply have the admin of the other company "approve" the deletion.
Hi @curtisridenour ,
The other Forum post that you referenced appears to be discussing the need to hide (or delete) external, bridged Design Collaboration Teams from within the Design Collaboration timeline.
The ability to hide/archive/delete rows within the Incoming and Outgoing tables of the Bridge tool is unfortunately not something that is currently on the Bridge team's one year roadmap, although I can see why some folks would want to hide some rows if they make errors when testing out Bridge. Generally speaking, I don't think we would ever want to allow users to truly delete any of these entries as one of our main principles is to keep a record of content that has been shared into/out of a project using Bridge. I could see us allowing Admins to filter these out somehow though (e.g., archiving them similar to archiving files in Docs, or saving filters). However, priorities can shift around. I would be interested to hear more about your needs in this case and how you use the incoming/outgoing tables as well if you'd like to share.

That is stupid. There needs to be at least a way to archive or deactivate them.
Create a preview screen of what we're going to see/what's going to happen if the concern is "audit trails", etc before creating this permanent part of the project with no undo button

Any updates on this? I'm working on the Bridge for the first time, and have made some mistakes / decisions were changed. That I can neither undo those mistakes, or simply fix the folder selection in the bridge is frankly ridiculous, and now everyone working on the project will see this nonsense for years to come.
Honestly, I don't buy that "there needs to be a history" argument. I don't know what sort of state secrets y'all are working on over there, but we just need to be able to get some data between projects (temporarily and/or permanently) and be able to CHANGE the settings after it's been made, for example when sub-folders are added. Nobody cares about the history. The histories are on the original projects. Everybody cares about things 1.) Working correctly, and 2.) Being up to date. That's all.
This feels like an overly complicated way to build a bridge between two projects, when you have to create a folder automation every time something new is added or changed or moved, and the system builds countless pages of old and unused shares.
Please at a minimum add an Archiving option ASAP, if not an outright option to modify the share after it's been made. ![]()
