Hi
If I decide to use BIM 360 Docs as a BIM CDE platform for a BIM level 2 job, will all project participants require a BIM 360 Docs account to view the information (Models, pdf's, excel, Images, etc). Or would it be a single licence purchase that allows several users? E.g., for a team of 20+ people (Management, employer, design team, surveyors, engineers, facility management etc), how much would a monthly plan for this be roughly?
Thanks
Denis

HI Denis - In general terms, you would obtain enough seats for you team, but I do not know the specifics of your use case. Can you direct message me your contact information and I will make sure to connect you with the right people to get you the information you need? Thanks!
Hi Denis
I use BIM 360 DOCS as a CDE as per PAS 1192 and my understanding is that you need to subscribe to enough licenses to allow each stakeholder who needs access so that you can add them to the project and give them the necessary permissions (View - Upload - Edit - Control).
You could limit the number of users you require by encouraging other consultants etc., to designate one document controller for each company if possible so that you are not paying for licenses that are over and above your requirements.
At the time of writing, I believe the they licenses come in packs 5 - 25 - 100 etc

Andrew
Long ago @joan_allen (2018-04 link below) mentioned intention to add a 'simple share' to BIM 360 Docs along the lines of the one in Team. It hasn't happened but would be interested to know if still on the radar. If Autodesk are serious about BIM 360 as an enterprise platform something needs to happen. We have 160 licenses but there are 10,000 potential users (view only) in our organisation.
