Applying A Project Template to a new project copying folder structure with content

I already have a project template (folder structure) built for new projects.  I am looking to copy this template and content (actual documents) when creating new sold projects moving forward.  These documents are project specific and used on every project (time sheets/ transmittal sheet/ safety/ ect. and consist of PDF, word and excel files) and to be filled out per project.   I would like for these documents to be saved in the specific "project template" with the content saved for every new project moving forward. This would allow for us to access the correct/ most current document.   From previous posts in 2018 it sounded like this was in the works. Is there anyway to do so as of now?

Dont think this is possible, only way i think would be to use the desktop connector to populate.

Dear, I tell you that you cannot add files in a project template. Project template parameters include:

Document management:
  Folder structure
  Role permissions
Issues: Issue types Root Causes Custom attributes Role-based permissions

Field Management:
Checklist templates
Issue templates
Role-based permissions

Cost Management:
Budget code templates
Custom attributes
Document templates
Module-specific settings
Financial markup formulas

The option would be to create a template with the folder structure and then with the Autodsk Desktop Connector quickly load the file
