ACC/BIM 360 better attachment upload for issues

Do I really need to upload a screenshot on a folder in order to link it in an issue??
There are way better options to add attachments to issues:

  • copy and paste from a scree capture app
  • Upload from local folder
  • ...

Look at other issue management tools out there.. they all support much better attachment upload features than ACC...
(even this text editor I am using to write this has better upload features.... 😂 )

If you are working in any kind of professional environment, ACC pays for itself very quickly. Any kind of workaround is going to lead to corrupt files and lost work that will far outweigh the cost of ACC https://showbox.bio/ https://tutuapp.uno/ .

Generalizations like this are inaccurate at best. Workarounds are not a guarantee for corrupt files and what some people call workarounds are actually the proper way to do things.

Be careful with such statements.

the weird thing here is the option to do what you are asking is available in the Correspondence.

If you are working in any kind of professional environment you want your tools to make your work efficient, and not more complicated.

@jataayupakshi  Have you ever created a .BCF in any other issue management platform? Adding attachment is super easy, and it should be also in ACC... but it's not.. Also .BCF support attachments very well.. so I don't really see the issue of instability or corruption. Try to create an issue in BIM Collab and add a screenshot and tell me if that makes things unstable 😅

That's because Autodesk is waiting for us to point out the issues of their products instead of trying to solve them while they develop...

Again: this forum tool has better attachment options than ACC 🤣

Attachements have now implemented copy and paste into issues. So I guess autodesk has listened!
Much much faster to add screenshots or docs to an issue!
