Use PowerBI to attract folder names and permissions from Autodesk docs

Hello everyone,

is there a way to use PowerBI to attract folder names and the permissions (by user, role or company) given to those folders from the projects stored on Autodesk docs?

If not, is there another way to achieve this information? Right now, we can see the permissions on folders and subfolders, but have to go through all of them individually. I would like to have an overview of this (and not have to manually keep up an excel or so for this).

Thank you!

Hi @desmetgg,

You can use Power Bi to report using the data connectors in Insights from Autodesk Construction Cloud but you cannot use it to add folder names and permissions.

If you have project templates setup you can then apply your default folder naming and apply role based permissions to the folders automatically. Then apply any other permissions based on the user, roles, and companies.

Please click the Accept Solution button if my reply answers your question.

Thank you for the reply.

Unfortunately it's not what I'm looking for. We have a big project on our ACC, with a lot of folders and subfolders. We have permissions based on company, but also on individual users. I haven't set up the project from the start, and actually the permission system is a bit of a mess as it is. I would like to get a nice overview of the map/submap structure, and the permissions granted  to those. I would think there would be an easy way to attract this from the data, but unfortunately I haven't found it yet.
